We are super excited for Raine to have her first (and probably only) litter! We expect puppies to arrive in late May. They will be ready to go home in early August.

​​​Sizes: These puppies will be "small standards" that are larger and more robust than a miniature poodle yet notably smaller than the typical standard poodle. Sizes may range from about 18"-21" at the shoulder, and about 28lbs-38lbs.

Temperaments: We anticipate biddable, intelligent, bold, curious, affectionate and (let's be honest), somewhat naughty babies who are up for anything. Some will be outgoing, energetic companions who will thrive in active homes. We also expect a few higher-drive sport prospects for people interested in pursuing agility, rally, disc, dock, barnhunt and nosework.

Litters like this don't happen often, especially in Canada. Their parents are genetically unrelated to each other, very thoroughly health tested and have many performance titles. Raine and Helix each have exciting, high quality pedigrees and uncommon, complementary genetics. These puppies will be highly outbred (in other words, the opposite of inbred) with outstanding genetic diversity, positioning them for lifelong health (according to peer-reviewed research). They will have excellent structure and very nice breed type, and despite being a true medium size that's very hard to find, they will align very nicely with the written breed standard.

Buying a Pivotal puppy
