Pivotal is anticipating co-bred puppies this June!
​
Helix has been bred to Raine's beautiful half-sister, Blue (Ch Sailso Fane Island CGN SHCh ITD CHIC). This litter will be bred and reared with care by our trusted friends at Sailso Poodles in Calgary. I will be traveling to Calgary to help evaluate the litter, and will be able to bring a few puppies back to Ontario for buyers in this part of the country.

Puppies will be ready for their new homes in August 2025!
​
Colours: all puppies will be blue or black. There will be no white/cream and no brown.
​
Sizes: These puppies will be true "small standards". Even the largest puppies will likely be smaller than a typical standard poodle. We expect females to finish around 18-21" in height and 30-35lbs in weight. Males may grow a bit larger, from 19.5-22" in height and 35-40lbs in weight.
​
Temperaments: We anticipate biddable, intelligent and affectionate babies with a range of drives, including some sport prospects and active companions.
​
Blue is light boned, leggy and extremely elegant, making her a perfect match for our Helix.

Litters like this don't happen often, especially in Canada.

According to the UC Davis canine diversity test and Betterbred, ​Blue and Helix are *extremely* genetically UNRELATED. Their puppies will be highly outbred (you know, the opposite of inbred) with outstanding genetic diversity. With their unique pedigrees and genetics, they will be very distinct from most other standard poodles.

Buying a Pivotal puppy

Pivotal pups will be approximately $3,000.

Pups will be reared with Puppy Culture, evaluated with Avidog, and benefit from a full spectrum of enrichment and foundational training to prepare them for success in your home.

Pups keep all their original body parts, including full, undocked tails and front dew claws.

Puppies will go home with health checks and age-appropriate vaccinations,

Buyers will receive ongoing support to position you and your puppy a smooth transition into your life together.

Puppies are not placed on a “first come first serve” basis, but matches are made in partnership with buyers to ensure the best fit for both puppy and buyer.
